ICOS Citizenship
The ICOS Citizenship programme combines innovative research and policy analysis to promote pragmatic responses to today's most pressing social challenges. ICOS aims to promote the values of citizenship and empowerment in communities at the grassroots level: processes of social transformation are achieved through multi-sector policy initiatives and joint responsibility. ICOS supports communities to become safer, paving the way for social and economic development. The ICOS Centre of Excellence on Citizenship is based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
